"We would like to thank the Phoenix theatre company for a the wonderful entertainment provided by your Murder Mystery evening. I have had so many members approach me to say how much they enjoyed themselves and hope that we will be running the event again. The answer is we most certainly will."

"Many thanks to all who came along to our Murder Mystery Evening in May.  I think it's safe to say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  We all threw ourselves into the action, taking part in a Melbourne Residents' meeting to voice our concern over the proposal to start investigating fracking by digging up Chelmsford City Football Club's pitch.  One of our members was even a suspect for the murder of Liam but luckily it transpired that he was innocent!

Many thanks to The Phoenix Theatre Group for their superb performance and a very entertaining evening.  Thanks also to Chelmsford City Football Club for providing us not only with a good venue but also with a very tasty buffet.  Hopefully we'll be able to have another Murder Mystery Evening next year."

"
Just a brief line to once again thank you and all the players from The Phoenix Theatre Company for a wonderful evening of suspense and intrigue on Saturday at our Murder Mystery Evening

Certainly from our perspective the whole evening went superbly well and most of our 75 Sleuths all returned home extremely happy....... if none the wiser!

The cast of seven all interacted superbly well both with each other and individually with their audience and it is so impressive how you all deliver such quick and feasible ad-lib answers to the various kinds of unknown questions that are thrown at you.

I hope it was successful and enjoyable for you all and many thanks again for providing us with a great evenings entertainment"

"It was a pleasure meeting you last night and thank you for putting on such an entertaining murder mystery event.
Whilst there was some confusion among some of the members, during the "performances," I had nothing but positive comments from the members as they left the hall.
Attached are the photos and below is the link for the page on the website.
Please convey my thanks to your "cast of players" they were all very convincing
Yours sincerely

"A huge Thank you to you and the rest of the Phoenix Theatre Company for such a brilliant evening on Saturday. I have had nothing but positive feedback about the evening and your company. Many had never been to a murder mystery before and didn't know what to expect but all enjoyed their experience and in the most part that is down to you guys who worked the room so well and got everyone participating. You were all brilliant!

I think we have raised just over £200 for the school PTA fund which will go towards replenishing the kitty for our next project. We have just used nearly all our funds paying for a spiritual garden for the children to enjoy and have lessons in.

I would be more than happy to recommend your company and hopefully you may get a booking from the Burnham RNLI following Saturdays event. Hopefully we may get to use your fantastic services again in the future.

Thank you once again.

"Please pass on my thanks to all your happy band.  Everyone has remarked what a brilliant night they had.  Some had never been before and would go again. Wasn't it good to hear so much laughter in one place.
Once again many thanks and I'm sure I shall be calling on your services again in the future.

"The Phoenix Theatre Company provided a riveting performance of 'The Master Magician,' a cast of 10 setting the scene before the Master Magician collapsed and was dragged off stage to subsequently die of peanut poisoning.  The detective during the second period teased the evidence from the cast one by one before encouraging the audience to do likewise.  All this built up to a climax, when the villain was exposed.  All in all a masterful performance, particularly bearing in mind the second half was improvised.  The audience participation was particularly pleasing with some adroit questioning even Clouseau would have been hard pressed to come up with!

"Committee members had received very favourable comments on the murder mystery that your colleagues performed for us in December.   Not living in the village this was the first that I had heard so a very big thank you to you all for a good evening.
